SOUNDS ULTIMATE - STRICTLY BALLROOM SEQUENCE DANCE LPs
The 80s saw Jimmy launching his own Recording Label : The Internationally acclaimed Sounds Ultimate.
Realising there was a real need for a specialised Ballroom Dance Label - He embarked on a venture which took them literally by surprise when it spiralled into a massive success and demand.
Not wanting to have the 'Jimmy Smith' name 'labelled' with this strict tempo media,
Jimmy developed the following Pseudonyms:
BOBBY COLE / SONNY JAMES & the BOYS FROM LA / ART WILSON / MIKE BARRY / TIMOTHY LOVE
He played and multi-tracked all the sounds from Big Band to Trio and made record breaking sales here and in Europe
receiving accolades from the biggest names in Ballroom Dancing here and abroad. Here's some of the incredible responses

"During our 25 years of Old Time and Sequence Dancing we have constantly been in
search of good music to suit the dancing public. Recently we had the pleasure of a
record to review 'Dance and be Happy' (Bobby Cole). We found this to be excellent
recording for the need of Teacher / Social Dancer , or just for the pleasure of listening
to well arranged delightful music. We would heartily recommend your product to the
Dancing Profession.
Yours sincerely, Jim & Gladys Pestell Fellow A.D.A
PS Congratulations to Bobby Cole and the Group. We now feel we have the Ultimate Sound.

Thank you for the record of Bobby Cole. I have already given it a quick 'once-over' and
find it very pleasing, the tempi are immaculate, pleasing sound and cunning selection of
well loved tunes.

Many thanks for posting me a copy of - 'Dance & remember Charlie Kunz' (Timothy Love
playing in the style of Charlie Kunz). It is a delightful and useful record which I find particularly
enjoyable as I used to dance to Charlie Kunz when he was active in London.

purchase from you.
